Workers, not army soldiers, will protect the lives of big leaders in Nepal, there will be special training.

Preparation to form National Volunteer Force

Once again the anger of the youth has erupted in Nepal. On Wednesday, the situation once again worsened in Simra area of Bara district. There was a clash between Gen-Z youth and CPN-UML party workers. After this, on Thursday, Genji once again took to the streets. Meanwhile, after the Gen-G demonstration, big leaders are doing new experiments regarding their security.

KP Sharma Oli’s party CPN-UML has established a National Volunteer Force. People of this force will protect their big leaders. Special training will be given to the workers included in the force. This decision has been taken in view of the manner in which the army personnel had retreated from saving the leaders during the recent Gen-Ji movement. Now this force will be deployed for the security of the leaders. Besides, Nepali Congress and Prachanda’s party can also implement this plan soon.

National Volunteer Force ready

The CPN-UML party, which was forced out of power after the Gen-Ji movement, is now forming a National Volunteer Force. Youth will be kept in this force. UML’s youth wing National Youth Union and student wing ANNUSU are already active, but now the party is going to form a new unit, National Volunteer Force, separate from these organisations. Its purpose is to protect the party and its leaders.

Oli will announce force

On Friday, youth and students from different areas of Kathmandu Valley will take out a rally and reach Karki Banquet in Babar Mahal, where this new force will be announced. Chairman KP Sharma Oli will formally announce this force in the meeting.

Why was the force created?

UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said that the party is very sensitive regarding security. Therefore, to strengthen our security system, this National Volunteer Force is being formed. Although there are differences on this issue within the party, Chairman Oli formed a task force under the leadership of Mahesh Basnet and took forward the formation of the force. The National Volunteer Force will have a command structure consisting of one commander and two assistant commanders.

Curfew imposed in Nepal

After the tension that arose in Nepal on Wednesday, Gen-Z youth took to the streets again on Thursday. To keep the situation under control, the district administration had imposed curfew from 12:45 pm to 8 pm.
