Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in US custody

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is currently in the custody of America. He has been kept in custody in New York. About 24 hours after his detention, his statement has come out, in which he is seen saying good night and happy new year. This video is going viral on social media. Maduro is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Yesterday i.e. on Saturday, Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were detained from their residence in Caracas. After this he was brought to New York by plane. In just 4 hours Maduro came down from the throne to the floor. He and his wife were arrested in a 30-minute operation. After this he was taken to America. Maduro faces serious allegations of narco-terrorism and arms smuggling.

Maduro will be prosecuted in US only

Maduro and his wife will be tried in America only. According to the information, preparations are being made to keep Maduro in federal jail. At least 40 people have been killed in Venezuela during the US military action, including both civilians and soldiers. US President Donald Trump has said that America will rule Venezuela until there is a proper change of power.

At the same time, Nicolas Maduro has called his arrest an illegal coup. Maduro has appealed to his supporters to maintain peace and continue the revolution. He said that he has been detained without any concrete evidence and he will fight the legal battle till the end.

Trump is destabilizing a country- Kamala

Regarding Maduro’s arrest, Kamala Harris said that the action against Venezuela was taken for oil. He said that the action has nothing to do with drugs or democracy. This action is illegal. Kamala said that Trump is destabilizing a country.
