Donald Trump Death Rumors: White House Confirms He Is Alive and Healthy

Trump’s Death Rumors Rock Social Media, White House Breaks Silence: “US President is Alive and Healthy”

Washington D.C. – Social media was set ablaze on Friday with rumors claiming the death of U.S. President Donald Trump after he was not seen in public for more than 72 hours. Hashtags like #TrumpIsDead, #WhereIsTrump, and #HesDead began trending on X (formerly Twitter), fueling speculation about the 79-year-old President’s health.

The wave of rumors intensified after Trump’s last appearance — a three-hour cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday — following which he remained absent from public view. The speculation coincided with concerns raised in recent weeks over Trump’s visible bruises, swelling in his legs, and purple patches on his hands.

White House Clarifies: Trump Diagnosed With CVI, But “In Good Health”

In response, the White House issued an official clarification, dismissing reports of Trump’s death as “baseless and false.” Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt confirmed that the President is “alive, active, and in good health,” explaining that Trump suffers from Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) — a condition affecting blood flow in the veins of the legs, common in people above 70.

A memorandum from Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbella, revealed that the diagnosis was made after swelling was observed in his ankles. A Doppler ultrasound confirmed CVI, though the condition was described as “mild and manageable.”

Doctors Say Trump Fit for Office

Dr. Barbella emphasized that the President recently underwent a comprehensive health check, including the Montreal Cognitive Test, scoring full marks. “The President remains medically fit to serve,” he added.

Leavitt further downplayed concerns over bruises and hand marks, clarifying they were side effects of aspirin use and “frequent handshakes,” not signs of serious illness.

Trump Still in the Race

Despite his age and ongoing health debates, Trump remains the oldest U.S. President seeking re-election for a second term. His health has been a subject of both political scrutiny and public curiosity. However, the White House insists that “the President continues to fulfill his duties without interruption.”

For now, the rumors of his death have been laid to rest — but questions about his fitness for another four years in office are unlikely to disappear anytime soon.
