Prime Video has released the first photos of the upcoming heist thriller, “Steel”. The series stars Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd and Archie Madekwe. All six episodes will be available exclusively on Prime Video on January 21, 2026 in more than 240 countries and territories.The first look photos of the series were shared on the official Instagram page of Prime Video. The caption read, “Your first look at the new series Steel starring Sophie Turner, Archie Madekwe and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd. Coming soon to Prime Video.”

The show follows Zara (Turner), an office worker at Lochmill Capital, whose regular workday is disrupted when a group of armed thieves break into the building and force her and her co-worker Luke (Madekwe) to follow their instructions. Following this incident, a high-stakes investigation begins, led by DCI Rhys (Fortune-Lloyd), who is determined to find out “who would steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions and why?” Moving the case forward, Rhys must also confront his recent addiction to gambling and understand the conflicting motives behind the crime.

‘Steel’ is described as a contemporary thriller that focuses on the process of a large-scale financial heist and its consequences. The executive producers of the series are Greg Brenneman and Rebecca De Souza, and Nuala O’Leary is the executive producer. It is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in partnership with Drama Republic.
