India vs South Africa: Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the first test of the series being played in Kolkata. This means that Team India will now have to win the test match against South Africa without its captain. BCCI shared the information about Shubman Gill’s exclusion on social media. Giving an update on Gill’s injury, BCCI said that he will remain under doctor’s observation for the time being.

Captain Shubman Gill had a neck injury on Day 2 of the ongoing Test against South Africa in Kolkata. He was taken to the hospital for examination after the end of the day’s play.
