Meanwhile, after a meeting held in Paris with the aim of stopping the conflict, a big statement of French President Emmanuel Macron has come out. He said that the security meeting held in Paris with Ukraine’s allies is an important step towards stopping Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and establishing peace. Macron said that in the meeting held in Paris, monitoring of the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, providing arms and training to the Ukrainian army, deploying a multinational army and measures to prevent future Russian aggression were discussed. More than 25 countries including America participated in this meeting. The purpose of this entire meeting and conversation is to persuade Russia for ceasefire and ensure the security of Ukraine. However, Russia has not yet shown any change in its stance and has said that there will be no ceasefire until a comprehensive peace agreement is reached.

Will provide arms, training and support to Ukraine

It was decided in the meeting that the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine would be monitored under American leadership. The allies also said that even after the ceasefire, the Ukrainian army will continue to receive weapons, training and support so that it can stop any future Russian aggression. The meeting also discussed ensuring security guarantees in the event of any future Russian attack and maintaining long-term defense cooperation with Ukraine. However, many important details are yet to be finalized.

Zelensky asked for help from Britain and France

Macron said that the highest number of 25 heads of state and government representatives participated in this meeting so far. American representatives included Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. During this, Zelensky emphasized that cooperation and commitment of the armed forces of European countries is very important. Zelensky said that the deployment of troops, weapons and technical assistance from countries like Britain and France is considered important. Many countries can deploy troops only after getting approval from their parliaments. Therefore, the commitment of some countries is not yet clear.

What is Russia’s stance?

It is worth noting that special attention was paid to five main issues during this meeting. These included ensuring ceasefire monitoring, providing long-term support to Ukrainian forces, and deploying a multinational force on land, sea and air. However, Russia’s stance is not yet known. There has been no reaction from Russia yet on the meeting held in Paris. France believes that something further will be done only after Russia’s stance becomes clear.
