Super specialty services are available here and the Prime Minister-Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman) is operated to provide their benefits to the common man. If the amount of Ayushman Yojana proves inadequate in the treatment of a patient, then he will be helped with the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and the funds of public representatives.
CM Yogi Adityanath attended the inauguration ceremony of Regency Hospital on Sunday. On this occasion, he visited the hospital and visited the facilities available there and also launched the mobile application ‘Regency My Care’ prepared for the patients.
The Chief Minister said that earlier expensive health services were difficult for the common people, but now these facilities are being easily available. The UP government has provided free treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Yojana to about five and a half crore people. Apart from this, people who are not getting the benefit of Ayushman Yojana or Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana will be helped from the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
High level medical facilities will increase from Regency Hospital
The Chief Minister said that a 250 -bed state -of -the -art multi -super specialty hospital is an important achievement for Gorakhpur and eastern Uttar Pradesh. All major facilities in this center will be available under one roof. Its benefit will not be available not only to eastern Uttar Pradesh but also to the people of northwest Bihar and Nepal. The hospital also has an 80 -bed ICU facility.
He informed that the Regency Hospital in Kanpur is working as the backbone of medical services of the state and its series is now getting expansion in the whole of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi praised its partner Tanmay Modi with an open heart for the establishment of this hospital in Gorakhpur.
The Chief Minister said that the hospital is only a means of treatment, but if caution and vigilance are not taken during treatment, it can also cause infection. All necessary security and facilities have been taken care of in this hospital. This center will prove to be an excellent health facility for a population of about five crore in the region.
Equal opportunity for every patient
CM Yogi said that the government which is always standing with the public is the true government. Their aim is to provide all facilities to citizens without any discrimination. He informed that assistance is also provided from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for treatment and today this facility is present at every level. As a result of development in the last 11 years, the economic capacity of people has also increased, so that they can spend for essential services.
Quality competition is necessary in healthcare
The Chief Minister said that transparent and quality competition in the health sector should be promoted. Good models should be introduced for this. These models can be like a model adopted by Guru Gorakhnath Hospital 22-23 years ago in Gorakhpur. At that time, facilities like ICU and dialysis were not available in Gorakhpur, but this hospital had provided them to the public and established a milestone in healthcare.
The hospital had also set up a blood separate unit and blood appris unit, expanding the facilities of the blood bank. At that time, this hospital introduced a model to provide health services according to the patient’s requirement and economic condition. Now this model needs to be developed and upgraded.
