China’s new move near Pangong Lake, surveillance tower built in the buffer zone! What is the finger dispute?

China revealed through latest pictures

China has once again come forward with its nefarious activities near Pangong Tso Lake in Ladakh. The latest satellite images have revealed that China is rapidly constructing military buildings, roads and permanent structures very close to the buffer zone. But now not just satellite images but TV9 Bharatvarsha has exclusively reached the same area, where China’s aggression near the buffer zone has been captured in our cameras.

This hilly area located near LAC in Ladakh is called Fingers Area. Pictures of military structures, roads and surveillance posts being built by China near the buffer zone have been captured on camera. Which raises serious questions on Beijing’s intentions.

What is the real root of the dispute?

While Pangong Lake is a center of attraction for tourists from all over the world, it is also the biggest cause of dispute between India and China. A part of the lake has frozen due to the severe cold. Similarly, the relations between India and China are also frozen. There are barren hills on the banks of Pangong Lake. The raised parts of these hills are called Fingers by the Indian Army.

These hills look like fingers, that is why they are called Fingers. Their total number is eight. India claims that LAC is up to Finger-8, while China says that LAC is only up to Finger-2. This is the root of the dispute.

China revealed its military infrastructure

A few years ago, China had tried to build permanent construction on Finger-4, but it had to retreat after strong opposition from India. The situation worsened, the armies of both the countries came face to face. After this, India deployed heavy deployment, radar, air defense system and surveillance boats on the lake shore. Even today the Indian Army does regular patrolling from Finger-1 to Finger-4.

No country patrols from Finger-5 to Finger-8. But, India closely monitors these areas. At the same time, China has built its military infrastructure near this buffer zone.

Why does China play tricks every time?

China has tried to infiltrate into this area several times, but every time the Indian Army has given it a tough challenge. So the question is why does China do this trick again and again?

The reason for the controversy is the Finger 5 policy of Chinese leader Mao in the 1940s. Thoughts of Chinese leader Mao “Tibet and its associated areas are part of China. These include Ladakh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Mao described these five areas as the five fingers of his right hand and Tibet as his palm.

How does China keep an eye?

The surveillance tower is China’s means of keeping an eye on the Pangong Lake area. Sitting on the peak, China can spy on the entire area from here. China itself keeps building towers, roads and posts on its territory. But, when India does any construction work in its territory near the LAC, China starts opposing it and plots infiltration. The part of LAC where China has installed its surveillance tower. From there, sitting on the peak, he can spy the Pangong Lake area. Can execute his dangerous plans.

Peace has been maintained between the two countries for many years

There has been peace for a long time due to military level talks between India and China for the last several years. Meanwhile, China is increasing construction near the Pangong Tso buffer zone. Although this activity is in Chinese-occupied territory, it strengthens Beijing’s ground presence after the 2020 border dispute. But in response, the Indian Army has also significantly increased its presence in the Fingers area. Our military posts have been deployed in large numbers in these areas. Because China is forgetting that this is not the India of 1962 but the India of 2025 which has the power to give a befitting reply to every move of the enemy.
