Amidst the worldwide race to make nuclear weapons, China is preparing a dirty bomb. This bomb can be used to immediately stop a nuclear attack. Chinese scientists have released details regarding this. This bomb was also tested in China on Sunday. However, Chinese scientists did not achieve success.

According to South China Morning Post, the Joint Logistics Support Force University of Engineering and the Rocket Force Research Institute together tested this bomb, but Chinese scientists were not successful. Scientists say that efforts will be made again in this regard.

How different is a dirty bomb from a nuclear one?

The dirty bomb that Chinese scientists are preparing is similar to nuclear. It will be used to prevent nuclear effect. Like the atomic bomb, plutonium or cesium will also be used in the dirty bomb. Scientists associated with the People’s Liberation Army say that about 62 kilograms of plutonium can be used in this bomb.

This bomb is being prepared on the example of the nuclear explosions in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Because till now nuclear explosions had taken place only in these two cities.

How will China’s dirty bomb work?

During a nuclear explosion, smoke is formed like a balloon. This radioactive smoke gradually spreads throughout the area, due to which all the objects there are completely destroyed. It is said that the dirty bomb has been prepared to stop this.

As soon as the dirty bomb is dropped on the ground, it will cause a massive explosion and its radioactive particles will scatter throughout the atmosphere. This bomb will either control the smoke balloon or suppress it high in the atmosphere, due to which the smoke or gas will not have much effect on the people living on the ground. Dirty bomb is being called a nuclear weapon.

Nuclear emergency expert Lin Yuanye says that as the countries of the world are racing to increase their nuclear arsenal, this weapon can prove to be a lifesaver for the people around the world. Chinese scientists have also published the detailed process of preparing this bomb.

Scientists say that if the test is successful, then an area of ​​about 10 km can be protected from nuclear attack with one bomb.

According to Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), Russia has the maximum number of 5449 nuclear weapons. After this America has 5277 nuclear weapons. China is in third place. China has 600 nuclear weapons. From 2023, China is preparing 100 nuclear weapons every year.

France has 290 nuclear weapons and Britain has 225 nuclear weapons. In Asia, India has 180 nuclear weapons, Pakistan has 170 and North Korea has 50 nuclear weapons. Israel also currently has 90 nuclear weapons.
