All the injured were busy offering namaz at the time of the blast. Local officials say this is a terrorist attack. The motive of the attack is being investigated.

According to initial reports, there is a mosque inside a school in the SMA area of ​​North Jakarta. People had gathered here to offer Friday prayers. During this time the bomb exploded. After the explosion there was chaos in the entire campus. The injured have been immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.

Most injured school children

The report said that most of the children who were injured due to the bomb blast were studying in a nearby school. The local police found an AK-47 and some bulletproof jackets in the mosque premises. It is being said that there were preparations for firing after the bomb blast.

After the terrorist attack, the police have sealed the entire complex. Many video footages of the incident have surfaced, in which there are blood stains on the floor.
