The condition of Sydney Thunder is not improving in Australia’s Big Bash League. This team captained by David Warner is desperate for victory. The condition of the team has become such that it has started losing even the matches at hand. Even the runs coming off the bat of Captain Warner are not proving to be enough to give victory to the team. Warner scored a strong half-century

BBL 2025-26 Sydney Thunder suffered this defeat at the hands of Adelaide Strikers on Tuesday 6 January in Adelaide. But made a mistake in the last over

Warner could not score a single run on the first 3 balls of English pacer Luke Wood’s over and the match started slipping out of hand. Again defeat was almost certain on the fourth ball, when Warner could take only one run. A four was definitely found on the fifth ball but by then it was too late. 1 run came on the last ball and Sydney Thunder lost the match by 6 runs. Warner remained unbeaten from the first over of the innings till the last over and returned unbeaten after scoring 67 runs in 51 balls but could not lead the team to victory. In this way, Thunder had to face its fourth consecutive defeat and sixth overall defeat in the season.
