Actor Robert Pattinson has three films scheduled to be released in 2026. He will be seen alongside Zendaya in the romantic-comedy The Drama. He will also play Antinous in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The actor will also play the role of Scythe in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three, which he has considered the role of a villain.
Villeneuve’s Dune: Speaking to IndieWire about Part Three, Pattinson said, adding, “It’s really great. When I was doing Dune, it was so hot in the desert that I couldn’t question anything, and it was so comfortable, like my brain wasn’t really working; I didn’t have a single functioning brain cell. Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic The Odyssey, which also stars Zendaya, is one of the most anticipated projects of 2026. Although many details are still a secret, it has been confirmed that Pattinson will play Antinous, one of the suitors attempting to obtain the hand of Odysseus’ wife Penelope. Antinous is actually the leader of the men and is the one who insults Odysseus’s family the most. He is the closest thing to a main villain in Homer’s epic. His evil involves a plot to remove Hero’s son, Telemachus, from the picture.
In July 2025, The Odyssey set a new record when tickets for the IMAX 70mm screening sold out in one hour, in one year. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, even before its release. This strong demand reflects the sheer scope of the film and director Christopher Nolan’s tremendous power at the box office.
