The video of 48 year old Sarabjit Kaur, resident of Kapurthala, Punjab has gone viral. She had gone to Pakistan with the Sikh group to celebrate Prakash Parv on 4 November. But when the group returned, it was found missing. This created a stir in both the countries. Earlier, a letter written in Urdu regarding her marriage had gone viral on social media. Now in the video that has gone viral on social media, she was seen with a Pakistani youth Nasir Hussain (43).

According to Pakistani media, Sarabjit has married Nasir and after converting his religion, he has also changed his name. Now Sarabjit Kaur has become Noor Hussain after religious conversion. According to the new viral video, on November 7, she appeared before the Sheikhpura magistrate. In this Sarabjit said- I have known Nasir for the last 9 years. She said- I love Nasir and have adopted Islam of my own free will. No one has put any pressure on me.

According to the report of The Express Tribune, she expressed her wish before Judicial Magistrate Shahbaz Hasan Rana that she wants to live with her husband. Sheikhpura District Bar member Ahmed Hasan Pasha Advocate represented Kaur in the court. In her statement, Kaur said that she independently decided to convert to Islam and marry a Pakistani man, and now wants to live with her husband Nasir Hussain.

Sarabjit married Nasir on 5th November

According to the report, they told that their marriage took place on November 5, 2025 in Farooqabad of Sheikhpura district. Dowry amount of Rs 10,000 had already been paid. The report further states – In his petition presented in the court, it has been reiterated that there is no pressure on him and he has confirmed his new Islamic name. In the marriage certificate, she has been described as a divorced woman and mother of two children.

It is being told that divorced Sarabjit was living in Amanipur village with her two sons. His sons also came to know about his stay in Pakistan when officials of central agencies and police interrogated them on Friday. According to Times of India, SHO of Talwandi Chaudhary Nirmal Singh said on Friday that three cases have already been registered against him.

‘Both are scared of the possibility of legal action’

According to the BBC report, Sarabjit and Nasir’s lawyer Ahmed Hasan Pasha has said that this marriage was registered in the concerned Union Council of Sheikhpura. On November 15, he had called both of them to his chamber so that they could record their statements before the officials of both the countries, but they did not come and now Nasir Hussain’s mobile phone is also switched off. He expressed apprehension that they are scared of the possibility of any legal action being taken against them.

Sarabjit’s visa period has not been extended yet

Pasha said that Sarabjit Kaur’s visa period has not been extended yet and she has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court in this matter. It is expected that this case may be heard on Monday. According to Sheikhpura police, a team of officers was sent to Farukhabad to search for Sarabjit and Nasir Hussain, but the house there is locked. Police say that it is still not known where Nasir Hussain and his family are. At the same time, it has also come to light that Nasir is already married.
