An important meeting of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) took place. Top Lashkar leaders Abdul Rauf and Rizwan Hanif were also present in this meeting. Rizwan Hanif is the deputy amir (deputy chief) of Lashkar’s PoK unit. He acts as the main link between Lashkar and Jaish terrorists.

Rizwan Hanif commands a combat unit called Hilal-ul-Haq Brigade. This is a joint team of BRD Lashkar and Jaish and works openly in the name of PAFF (People’s Anti Fascist Front). Many terrorist activities are conducted through this brigade.

Welcome terrorists with flowers

According to reports, the terrorists were welcomed with flowers in this meeting. This is being considered an important and strategic meeting after the Delhi blast. Rizwan Hanif’s name has come up in many big terrorist cases. He works as a link between Jaish and Lashkar, connecting and directing the terrorists.

Habib Tahir, who was involved in the Pahalgam attack, was also found to be linked to Rizwan Hanif. This proves that Hanif and his brigade play an important role in the training and planning of terrorists. The purpose of this meeting was not only to increase coordination among the terrorists, but it is also said to discuss new plans and strategies of attacks.

Such meetings in PoK strengthen the network of terrorists. In this, attempts are made to carry out new conspiracies against India. This meeting made it clear that organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are still active and are plotting terrorist incidents in India by creating a safe base in PoK.
