At the heart of its technological advancements, Google is rolling out a new AI photo editing tool to iOS users in India. This new tool will be powered by Google Gemini’s advanced AI image editing model, Nano Banana. The feature is already available in the US, and now the company promises to make photo editing more intuitive with this new tool.
What is the ‘Help Me Edit’ Tool
Google is rolling out the ‘Help Me Edit’ tool, allowing users to type instructions to adjust their photos based on their needs. This way, users will not have to manually find settings like brightness or cropping. They just have to give ‘Commands’ such as ‘increase the brightness’, ‘crop my image’, or ‘open my eyes.’ The Google Photos AI will then automatically apply the changes.
This AI approach will make things easier for users during the image editing process with no technical expertise needed.
Role of Nano Banana
The Nano Banana AI model will increase the creative dimensions in editing images. It means users can add their imaginative steps simply by describing.
For example, you just have to give commands like ‘turn this image into a Renaissance portrait’ or ‘make this image look like mosaic tiles.’
Google is adding this tool to make generative AI art embedded with more personality, photography, along a vast level of creativity.
Ready-Made AI Templates
Other than this, Google is also adding a ‘Create with AI’ carousel in the Create tab within the Photos app. This features a one-tap prompt suggestion to users. Now, you will be able to generate professional-style images using your existing photo library. There will be several templates like headshots, photoshoots, fashion, festival, and more, giving you impressive results.
These templates will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Not only this, the ‘Ask Photo Feature’ that allows users to search their library with natural questions is going global. The feature is now available in more than 100 countries. In addition, it is also available in 17 languages. In India, you can use the features with a new ‘Ask’ tab. It replaces the older Search function within the app.
