Korean superstar Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok), who is internationally famous for his films ‘Train to Busan’ and Marvel’s ‘Eternals’, is going to step into Indian cinema.
According to Korean media reports, Don Lee, also known as ‘Ma Dong-seok’, will play the lead villain in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming action film ‘Spirit’. Superstar Prabhas of ‘Bahubali’ fame is in the lead role in this film.
Don Lee may clash with Prabhas
Korean drama and entertainment community ‘Muko’ confirmed the news on social media on Tuesday. The tweet states that the film will be a dark detective crime drama, in which Prabhas will play the role of a police officer. Don Lee’s character will reportedly be opposite to Prabhas’s character.

The report further states that the hints that Don Lee had recently given on social media about his visit to India were for the shooting of this film.
‘Spirit’ is touted to be a police action film starring Prabhas in the lead role. Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Vivek Oberoi, Trupti Dimri and Prakash Raj.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his successful and controversial films ‘Animal’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, is helming the project. On Prabhas’s birthday, director Vanga had shared a ‘sound story’ of the film, giving fans the first glimpse of the world of the film.

Awaiting official confirmation
Although this news is making waves in the Korean media, the film team has not yet officially confirmed Don Lee’s casting. The film ‘Spirit’ is expected to be released in theaters in 2026.
